Nestled in the heart of George, our guest room offers the perfect base for exploring the Garden Route. We’re 15-20 minutes away from pristine beaches, George Airport, George Hospital, George Medi-Clinic and world-class golf courses.

Wake up to views of the Outeniqua Mountains from your cozy double bed, dressed in soft cotton linen. For chilly evenings, cuddle up with the electric blanket. Unwind with a book in 2 occasional chairs or use the corner work-desk for focus and productivity. Step outside to the undercover patio, complete with a table and chairs, and enjoy the tranquility of the garden.

We’ve done all we can to ensure the room is tranquil. There are books in the reading cupboard, hundreds of movies to watch on Apple TV or Netflix and you have your own private patio overlooking the garden.

House rules and important info

HOT WATER

Turn the tap/faucet lever to the Left. Be patient – hot water takes about 30 seconds from the solar-powered geyser.
NB: George municipality has water restrictions. Please save water, where possible. Thank you.

Use the large remote to turn TV on. Use the smaller APPLE remote to navigate apps such as APPLE TV, NETFLIX, YOUTUBE and PRIME.

BOOKS

The tall cabinet to the left of the bed has a number of books for your enjoyment. Please return them before leaving. Thank you.

BIRDS

In the drawer below the corner desk is a bird-book to help identify the many birds that visit our garden. Use the binoculars to spot them!

DRINKING WATER

The water in the taps (faucets) is filtered before its piped into the house and safe to drink. In addition, the water in the fridge is double-filtered.
