Meet Your Hosts – Craig & Linda

The Windsock is more than a holiday home to Craig and Linda, it’s something they genuinely love sharing with their guests.

Warm, relaxed and always ready to help, they believe memorable stays are created through the little things: a thoughtful welcome, local advice, a few unexpected touches, and making sure both people and their dogs feel completely at home.

As passionate dog lovers, their Boxers, Chelsey and Shadow, are very much part of The Windsock family and have inspired many of the special touches provided for visiting pups.

Craig and Linda are also keen runners and love being part of Ballito’s wonderfully active outdoor community. With beautiful coastal routes, beaches, trails and an energetic fitness culture right on the doorstep, there’s nearly always someone out running, walking, cycling or training.

So there is one unofficial Windsock house rule: running shoes are mandatory! Whether they actually make it out of your suitcase is entirely up to you.

Craig and Linda are around when needed while giving guests the privacy to enjoy The Windsock as their own home by the sea.

For them, hosting isn’t simply about providing accommodation. It’s about sharing the lifestyle they love – the ocean, the outdoors, the dogs, the people and the wonderful energy of Ballito – and hopefully saying “welcome back” rather than goodbye at the end of your stay.
