The space
Enjoy a contactless experience with use of a lockbox system upon entry and exit.

Peaceful garden view from the patio of the one bedroom unit. There is a TV, books and a set of cards to entertainment yourself.

Cook up a storm in an L-shaped kitchen with access to a standard fridge, microwave, an array of cutlery and other kitchenware. Should you need to wash some items, a washing machine is available – read the directions to access the washing liquid. Get some good rest on a queen sized bed and steamy shower in the comfort of a stylish bathroom.

Should there ever be an odd power cut, we have back-up lights installed in the bedroom as well as a charged portable lamp readily available in the lounge.

Guest access
Guests have access to the open cupboard space of the unit. Unavailable warbdrobe space will be indicated with a chain & key-lock.

Check-in details will be sent closer to the time of your stay
Check-out is at 10am on the morning of your exit however should you wish to extend your time with us, please inform the host as soon as possible

ESTATE CODE ACCESS
Three access codes providing 3 entries and 3 exits per day to the estate will be provided to guests ahead of time to avoid access inconveniences.

WHAT IS FREE & WHAT IS NOT
All guests guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, water and access to estate amenities. As a guest staying longer than 2 days (1 night sleep over+), you may be required to top up on electricity units & gas for the heater should you deplete the day units & gas provided. This enables us as hosts to keep bookings as affordable (and as accessible to a typical South African) as possible.

GYM ACCESS IS AVAILABLE
Gym membership is paid for at R70 per day. Be sure to let your host know if you need access to be arranged for your stay.

House rules and important info

HOUSE MANUAL
Electricity units are affordable, so don’t worry about breaking the bank. More details on how to top-up as well as how to perform other tasks are available in the house manual below:

How to connect to Wi-Fi
1. Connect to TP-LINK_1EEE on your device
2. When prompted for a password, enter: 63642827

How to operate the Gas Heater
WARNING: Be sure that the heater is far from wood, plastic & metal surface. All damages will be billed to the guest.
1. Turn on the green OR brown knob on the gas bottle.
2. Once the gas bottle is on, position yourself to the heater itself & hold down the black round knob while turning to the #1 mark
3. While the black knob is pressed down at the #1 mark, press down the red ignition button. A clicking sound will occur
4. Try this several times until a spark picks up. Adjust the heat accordingly
5. Once done using the heater, please ensure that the gas tank is switched off & black knob is turned back to #0 mark

How to use the TV
1. Use the big remote (Dixon) to turn on the TV and operate the TV- this includes navigating to Netflix, YouTube & Showmax

How to use the washing machine – 1 free load to wash your laundry
1. Open the mouth of the washing machine
2. Enter the dirty clothes
3. Open the top left lid of the washing machine to enter washing liquid
4. Beneath the sink, you will find a small container with blue dish-washing liquid – use the blue liquid to wash your load of clothes

How to turn on the hot water – 45 minute waiting time
1. At the entrance of the unit turn on the Geyser switch
2. Wait for a minimum of 30 minutes (max 1 hour) for the water to heat
3. To save on electricity, please turn the Geyser switch off when not in use

How to top-up your electricity (with use of a banking app)
1. A minimum amount of electricity will be left for you to set-up upon arrival.
2. To top-up, access your banking app and select the option to buy electricity
3. Enter the meter number ‘01318452586’
4. Select the amount required and purchase – tip* R100 spend produces ~27 units. Purchase the voucher.
5. Enter the voucher number produced by your banking app into the meter box followed by the enter botton.
6. Upon successful upload, the word “ACCEPTED” will appear on the meter box screen.
