Hidden behind its gates, you’ll discover a peaceful haven where you’ll instantly feel at home. Whether you're visiting Cape Town for business, a romantic escape or simply a well-deserved holiday, our stylish open-plan Studio offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and tranquillity. Thoughtfully designed for two, it's a light-filled, self-catering space where modern living meets peaceful surroundings, creating that unmistakable home-away-from-home feeling.

Wake up to birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the koi pond and gentle cascading water feature, then open the stack-back doors to take in the lush gardens, sparkling oasis pool and beautiful Constantia mountain views. Whether you're catching up on work, exploring the Cape or simply slowing down for a few days, the Studio is designed to make every stay effortless.

The Studio includes:

A comfortable queen-size bed in a cleverly partitioned sleeping area.
A contemporary bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.
A well-equipped self-catering kitchen nook featuring a hob, oven, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and all the essentials.
A dedicated workspace that also doubles as a dining area.
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a 42" Smart TV with Netflix.
Backup power during load shedding for Wi-Fi, TV, a lounge light and USB charging.
A portable air-conditioning unit in the lounge together with ceiling fans for year-round comfort.
Shared access to our tranquil pool deck with comfortable loungers, an oasis-style swimming pool and spa pool, all surrounded by beautiful, secluded gardens.

If you're looking for a place where everyone can truly settle in, unpack and feel at home, our self-catering Cottage is just the spot. Perfect for couples, friends or families with children aged 12 years and older, the Cottage offers generous living spaces, thoughtful comforts and the relaxed atmosphere that has made Kaya La Provence known by so many guests as a surprising oasis.

Spend your mornings enjoying breakfast on your private patio, fire up the braai after a day exploring Cape Town, or simply unwind in the peaceful gardens with a good book. With everything you need for a comfortable stay, the Cottage is designed to be your home away from home, whether you're staying for a weekend or a little longer.

The Cottage offers:

Sleeps up to 4 guests.
Suitable for adults and families with children aged 12 years and older.
Main bedroom with a Queen XL bed, plus a second cosy bedroom with a three-quarter bed, together with an additional spacious family bathroom featuring both a bath and shower.
An open-plan lounge and dining area with an additional single bed, accommodating a fourth guest.
A fully equipped self-catering kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle and everything you need for effortless holiday living.
A private patio with outdoor seating, breakfast nook and braai area, with a mobile stainless steel braai available on request.

Hi! We’re Neil and Nicky, the proud owner-hosts of Kaya La Provence.

Creating a place where guests instantly feel at home has always been our passion, and it’s something we’re incredibly proud to be known for. Our guests have rewarded us with a 9.7 Booking.com rating and Airbnb Superhost status, with many describing Kaya as a surprising oasis and commenting on the warm, genuine hospitality they experience during their stay.

As we live on the property, we’re always nearby should you need recommendations, assistance or simply a friendly chat. Equally, we understand that some guests come to relax and enjoy complete privacy, so we’ll happily give you all the space you need. We believe great hosting is about finding that perfect balance – being there when you need us, while making you feel completely at home.

More than simply a member of our team, Nickson has become part of the Kaya family and a dear friend. His warm smile, gentle nature and genuine kindness are often among the very first things our guests experience, and it’s not unusual for him to be there to welcome you when you arrive.

Working alongside us, Nickson takes great pride in caring for Kaya and ensuring everything is beautifully prepared for your stay. From the immaculate rooms to the thoughtful little details behind the scenes, his dedication and cheerful spirit are woven into everything he does.

To keep things easy, fair, and consistent for everyone, Guesthouse Exchange operates on a standard, all-around cancellation policy across the platform. Any booking cancelled within 5 days of the arrival date will not be eligible for a refund or token return. We know plans can change, but this approach helps protect both hosts and guests and keeps the exchange running smoothly. Before confirming your stay, please make sure you’ve read our full Terms and Conditions, where everything is explained in a little more detail – no surprises, promise.

House rules and important info

LIABILITY

ALL GUESTS ENTER THESE PREMISES AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Parking for one car per guest room is included in the rate. All vehicles parked are at own risk.
The Owners/Management of Kaya La Provence are not liable or do not accept any responsibility for any lost, stolen or damages to a guest’s property.
The Owners/Management of Kaya La Provence do not accept any liability for any injury to guests.
Damages to Kaya La Provence property or any of its content should be reported immediately to Owners/Management. (e.g. breakages to crockery/glasses; stains to linen, towel, couches, blankets etc). Payment for damages before departure will be expected. Guests who fail to report damages and are discovered after their departure will be held liable and invoiced accordingly.
The Owners/Management’s private residence is off limit to guests.
Kaya La Provence always reserves the right of admission into guest rooms.

SAFETY

The swimming pool is shallow. No diving is allowed. No children under the age of 16 are allowed to swim without parental supervision. SWIMMING AT OWN RISK.
The remote accessed front entrance gate should be checked that it is fully closed after entering or exiting the property.• The remote accessed garage gate should be checked that is closed after entering or exiting the property. The last guest car in at night must release the safety latch on the garage door.
All guest room doors are to be locked when guests leave the property as well as at night time.
Unauthorised persons/visitors are not allowed on the premises. However should a guest request a visitor please consult with Owners/Management first for permission.

HOUSE RULES

NO SMOKING inside the guest rooms is permitted. This includes the side alley in The Studio and the washing line and patio area in The Cottage. Smoking is ONLY permitted in the shared garden away from the guest rooms.
No pets allowed.
Braai facilities are only available for paying guests booked in at Kaya La Provence. Braai wood supplied.
NO NOISE AFTER 10PM. Noise levels are expected to be kept to a minimum and will be closely monitored by Owners/Management. (This includes noise made by children).
Bathroom towels are not to be used around the pool area.
One pool towel per guest is available on request but are strictly for use ONLY at Kaya La Provence and are not to be removed from the property.
No bedding, pillows or cushions from inside the guest rooms are permitted for outside use.
Under no circumstances are any contents from Kaya La Provence to be removed from the property.
ALL PATIO LIGHTS, INSIDE LIGHTS, AIR CONDITIONING, FANS, HEATERS AND APPLIANCES ARE TO BE TURNED OFF WHEN LEAVING THE PROPERTY.
Please use water sparingly.

RECYCLING

WE RECYCLE! Please kindly rinse and clean your glass and recyclable plastics into the provided green refuse bag. You can store this bag in the outside washing lie courtyard in The Cottage and down the side alley in The Studio.
Use the kitchen bin with black bag ONLY for non-recyclable items and waste.
When full, please place green recycling bags and waste black refuse bags outside your front door and we will remove them.

TOILETS

No cigarette buts, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper, may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.

CLEANING SERVICES

For guests staying longer than a week, we will remake your bed with fresh linen and clean towels will be provided.
Basic tidying up and cleaning of rooms is an extra service that is available if required and is charged at R250 for 2 hours.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

Laundry services are available if required. R250 per load will be charged. Kaya La Provence accepts no responsibility for any damage to laundry items.

DEPARTURE

Upon leaving, guests will be expected to leave the house in the same condition as on arrival. If guests do not comply with these conditions, additional cleaning charges will occur.
All recycling to be placed in provided green bags. All waste and non-recyclable items to be put in the kitchen bin.
Keys for guests parking in the garage should by hung on the back of the door leading into the garage on departure.
Keys for guests using the front entrance gate are to put keys in the post box on departure.
