We have lived on the property for over 20 years and have been welcoming short- and long-term guests for 15 years. The apartment has been carefully designed to provide a comfortable, private and restful home-away-from-home, while being conveniently close to Rosebank, Hyde Park, Randburg, Sandton and Johannesburg CBD.
The apartment is ideally positioned for both business and leisure or tourist travellers.
Parktown Quarter is just 800m away, with Woolworths Food, cafés and everyday essentials close at hand. Head to Rosebank for the Gautrain station, Rosebank Mall, restaurants, lively bars, boutiques, shops and movies. For food lovers, 4th Avenue Parkhurst is nearby and offers a wonderful selection of restaurants, coffee shops and boutique stores.
Despite its central location, the apartment is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Guests enter through the shared main entrance to the property, with secure, off-street parking available. The apartment is situated on the upper level, separate from the main house, with its own private entrance and private outdoor patio.
The light and airy open-plan living area has a comfortable sleeper couch for additional guests if required. There is a TV and the options of tuning in to DSTV or Netflix.

The entire apartment is solar powered, with back-up water tanks on site, helping ensure a comfortable stay even when Johannesburg’s utilities aren’t cooperating.
The apartment is thoroughly cleaned and serviced weekly (or as requested) with fresh linen and towels provided. Additional servicing can be arranged on request.
And then there’s Simba, our beautiful, friendly Golden Retriever, who loves people and is always happy to receive a cuddle!
